One of today's newest and most exciting developments in the field of dentistry is laser dentistry. A laser, which replaces the scalpel, allows soft tissues to be cut without bleeding.

We use the Ivoclar diode dental laser to replace many traditional minor surgical techniques including:

• Gum recontouring and reshaping frequently used in cosmetic dentistry. Often in cosmetic dentistry, the position of the gum margin becomes an important issue in making a smile look perfect. Lasers can reshape overgrown and puffy gum tissue to provide an instantaneous cosmetic result.
